10. lea rasovszky - drawings on wallpaper

The exhibition took place on June 12, 2009, at 21.00, within a home gallery set up in a typical block of flats living room.

A few pieces of wallpaper are used as raw material. With acrylic and a few words, Lea pins down a series of emotional states that are not really positive.

From a visual point of view, the wallpaper is overburdened with its sweetness and lyricism. The drawings that are produced in the end become even heavier because of this. It happens in this way because the expressions that were handwritten contain the unhappiness of someone who sees love as a skin disease, as something impossible, or as a sign of a personal dysfunction.

The drawings were distributed to the public present at the opening of the exhibition through a raffle or tombola process. This exhibition was also the closing event for my home gallery.
